Food Drive- A Note From Mike Hayes
Mishawaka Food Pantry, Inc. and the people we serve thanks the Parrot Heads of Michiana for another huge success. You raised $854.97 in cash and collected 655# of food. That's enough food to make over 500 complete meals, and the money is enough to provide vegetables to nearly 8,000 people! You can see that what you do has a tremendous effect in our community. Donations are typically down in the summer months and the demand is higher because children are out of school and not receiving the free or reduced lunches. Mishawaka Food Pantry also operates a café providing free hot lunches 3 days per week and this summer we had an all time high of 182 lunches served in just one day.
I cannot express enough to your club at how grateful we are for what you do. I pray that God blesses each of you and your families for the work you do to help relieve the suffering of others.

Heart Walk- OCT 4th. Eddy St. Commons 2p.m.-2:30 p.m. Kirk will have more details later.
Empty Bowls-Decision to have a Tropical Trivia night instead of soup dinner. Confirming the hall at St. Peter’s will still work and how the alcohol sales will be handled. Beneficiary to be Real Services.
It will held Oct 30th. Doors open at 6 and trivia starts at 7.

Sept. 12th Wawasee Golf Club- Outing is set. Golf is Sept 12th at high noon be there early for pre cocktails. Wawasee Golf Club Syracuse,IN. Golf will be $26.00 for 18 holes per person with cart. $2.00 beers, $1.00 jello shots and pudding shots. $1.00 pop. $20.00 per four man or women team for skins. Longest drive men and women,closet to pin prizes. There will be a 50/50 also. we will be going to Louie's afterwards for awards and cocktails for those that just did not get enough.
Sept. 13th Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Potawatomi Park 1pm put a team together?? Club will Donate $100 towards a walking team
October -PHiM birthday party with Thom Shepherd at KW North
November 23-26- Sharkeys’ shared the good news that Wyatt Cooper Sharkey is expected around Thanksgiving!
December -Christmas party- Eagles again- Date: December 12th is booked with Eagles.
End of Year donations to go to Christmas Commandos, Salvation Army, River Bend and Shop With a Cop
4 months remaining for President/ Treasurer/ At Large positions. Please help if you can!
